The unique StarCraft is some of the vital video games in history, and while the real-time strategy (RTS) genre isn’t as popular because it once was, some would argue that games like DOTA 2 and League of Legends wouldn’t exist without it. For the generation of gamers who didn’t experience StarCraft and StarCraft II at launch, Xbox is bringing StarCraft: Remastered and the StarCraft II: Campaign Collection to PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate starting November 5.

The StarCraft story is about within the twenty fifth century, where three factions are warring across the celebs: the human Terrans, the bug-like Zerg, and the Protoss, a technologically advanced species from the planet Aiur. The primary game launched in 1998, followed by the Brood War expansion later that very same yr. Fans had to attend until 2010 to get their hands on the sequel, StarCraft II, which was broken up into three parts: Wings of Liberty, Heart of the Swarm (2013), and Legacy of the Void (2015).

With the Diablo and StarCraft franchises on Game Pass, it seems only a matter of time before the Warcraft franchise joins them now that Microsoft officially owns Blizzard Entertainment.
