Oleksandr Usyk’s early Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua prediction

Tyson Fury beat Arslanbek Makhmudov in his fifth comeback from retirement on Saturday night.

‘The Gypsy King’ called out Anthony Joshua, who was sitting ringside, during his post-fight interview.

An ungainly moment ensued when ‘AJ’ refused to totally commit to a fight with Fury this summer.

If Fury and Joshua do finally box one another, Oleksandr Usyk has little doubt who will win.

The pound-for-pound primary believes one in all his former opponents will follow in his footsteps by becoming undisputed at heavyweight.

“If Tyson Fury signs a fight with ‘AJ’, I’ll stay back,” Usyk said on Tuesday.

“AJ will win. He’s a future undisputed champion.”

When is Oleksandr Usyk’s next fight?

Oleksandr Usyk hasn’t fought since knocking out Daniel Dubois in five rounds last August.

The 39-year-old will face kickboxing legend Rico Verhoeven when he returns to the ring next month.

They’ll meet in a crossover clash for the WBC title on the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt on May 23.

Usyk spoke about why he’s decided to fight a 1-0 boxer during a press conference on Tuesday.

“One time, I need to do what I need,” he said.

“Not what is required. Plenty of the time, I do what is required.

“Now, I do what I want.”
