Cole Palmer insists he has no plans to go away Chelsea and join Manchester United.
The 23-year-old is currently in his third season at Chelsea following his £40 million move from Manchester City in 2023.
Last month, reports had claimed that Palmer has turn into disillusioned with life at Chelsea and could be open to moving to United in the summertime transfer window.
Nevertheless, Palmer is adamant that he’ll stay at Chelsea and believes the club can challenge for ‘serious trophies’ next season if ‘the suitable players in the suitable positions’ are signed this summer.
‘Everyone just talks,’ Palmer told The Guardian.
‘Once I see it I just laugh. Obviously Manchester is my home. All my family are there, but I don’t miss it. Perhaps I’ll miss it if I don’t go for 3 months or something. But then after I get home I believe there’s nothing there for me anyway.

‘I’ve got no plans to maneuver from Chelsea. We’ve still got quite a bit to play for. We’ve got the FA Cup semi-final and if we finish in a Champions League spot it puts us in a superb position to sign players that we want.
‘We spoke to the owners and so they’re sure of the players which might be gonna do it. Reece won’t sign a six-year contract if he’s not spoken to the owners and the administrators.
‘Me and Reece spoke quite a bit. About things we want, players we want to sign and the way things have to be. He wouldn’t sign a brand new contract if he didn’t know what was happening.
‘We wish to win now and I believe if we add right in the summertime we are able to compete for serious trophies next season. I don’t think we’re far off.
‘When you sign the suitable players in the suitable positions and the suitable characters and profiles, I believe now we have good enough quality to compete and be more consistent than we’ve shown over this season.
‘Bringing a manager in mid-season, you’ve gotten no pre-season, hardly have time to coach. You’re just specializing in games. However the manager is sweet and when he has a correct pre-season and gets his ideas across properly and the way in which he desires to play he’s a top coach.
‘If we as players perform to how we ought to be performing and we get the suitable players we are able to, him and us as a bunch, do some work.’
