Several recent UFC video packages have featured using AI.

The AI utilized in the UFC White House video promo particularly received criticism from fans for being a lazy way of getting people excited concerning the event.

There have been complaints for a while that the MMA leader now not puts as much effort into the creative side of promotion.

After Dana White dismissed these comments entirely, his right-hand man with regards to putting on live events shared his thoughts on what people have needed to say.

UFC executive producer Craig Borsari argues that AI amplifies content creation as an alternative of substituting it

The UFC’s recent use of AI was considered one of many criticisms brought up by streamer ‘MoistCr1TiKaL’ in his rant that addressed various things that fans don’t like concerning the promotion.

While many view this becoming a key feature in some recent video packages as lazy, UFC executive producer and chief content officer Craig Borsari doesn’t see it this manner.

He believes that it’s simply one other tool they will use to enhance the content they put out and subsequently pushed his team to implement it.

“The best way we have a look at AI just isn’t an alternative choice to content creation, but somewhat a strategy to amplify it. So, if there are things that we will do utilizing AI, it’s no different than using possibly a green screen,” he told Latest York Post Sports.

“I mean, it’s a way and technology that’s evolving at an incredible rate and I prefer to tell my team if we’re not pushing the envelope and in search of other ways to do things and story tell, then we’re not doing our jobs.”

Borsari later explained that while he’s aware of AI often being met with criticism, he didn’t have any doubts as as to whether the UFC should start implementing it.

“The last item I need my team to be is stagnant and play on our heels and play it protected so we’ll proceed to look for methods to not only use AI but other technological advances and push the envelope in the way in which we present our product each on the unique production side and the live events side.”

A counter point to this stance with regard to the promo video for the White House card could be that while using AI makes this more efficient, fans have seen similar content from the UFC previously that wasn’t generated by artificial intelligence.

Subsequently, it was inevitable that some parts of the fanbase could be quick to call this out for cutting corners somewhat than improving the content.
