Several fans didn’t leave WrestleMania 42 with the souvenirs they hoped for — as an alternative, they exited Allegiant Stadium in handcuffs after allegedly attempting to take commemorative chairs they hadn’t paid for.
Several videos circulating online show security confronting multiple fans who attempted to walk out with chairs that weren’t included of their ticket packages. One witness stated,
“They weren’t sitting on them—they were taking them.”
“That’s why you wish the blue band if you would like to take a chair. They were waiting for them, and now they’re getting arrested for stealing.”
“It’s ridiculous — you didn’t pay for it, so why take it? Now you’re going to jail over a chair you’d probably need to ship home anyway. You’d mainly have to buy it its own plane ticket.”
