TV actor and host Vipul Roy filed a criticism after noticing that foreign currency, silver, gold, and diamond jewellery were missing from his home. Vipul accused his maid of theft, alleging she stole foreign currency together with gold and diamond ornaments. The criticism was lodged in Mumbai on Tuesday, and police stated they’re currently gathering information concerning the maid before taking further motion.
Vipul Roy Alleges Domestic Help Of Rs 7 Lakh Theft
Vipul filed the criticism against a maid he hired from a web-based platform. He alleged that she stole Rs 5 lakh in foreign currency. It included Rs 2 lakh price of gold and diamond ornaments from his residence within the Khar area. In his criticism, Vipul identified her as Dipali Kharwa, in keeping with police sources and by PTI.
Vipul claimed that Dipali had previously worked at his home multiple times. He had rehired her a number of days ago. He stated that when he was about to go away for work, he checked his cupboard drawers and realised that several valuables were missing. The actor filed the police criticism after getting back from abroad, police said.
What All Were Stolen?
In accordance with reports, Vipul mentioned in his criticism that roughly 30 notes of 100 dollars, 7,000 dirhams, and 14,500 Thai baht—collectively price Rs 5 lakh—were stolen. Moreover, a silver bracelet valued at Rs 85,000 and gold diamond rings price Rs 1.25 lakh were also taken. Police are currently investigating and gathering details about Dipali before proceeding further. Vipul has not yet posted concerning the incident on social media.
