Derek Van Diest: Edmonton Oilers forward Connor McDavid appeared to roll his ankle during Wednesday’s game and briefly left to have it checked out. After the sport, McDavid said, “I just rolled up on it somewhat bit. It’s high quality.”
Ryan Rishaug: Oilers coach Kris Knoblauch said he’s not concerned about McDavid. Forward Adam Henrique didn’t travel with the team. Forward Jason Dickinson could possibly be available for Game 3.

Mike Morreale: Hynes said Zuccarello and Trenin have upper-body injuries and were near playing in Game 3, and added: “They were attempting to work through it so we’ll see. I hope these couple days help and we’ll see we’re at on Saturday.”
Zoe Pierce: Ottawa Senators defenseman Jake Sanderson left last night’s game within the second period after a success to the pinnacle by Hurricanes Taylor Hall. Sanderson played two shifts after the hit after which left. Hall received a two-minute minor for an illegal check.
