There’s little doubt about who Paddy Pimblett can be fighting next after a few recent hints.

Pimblett is looking forward to his return after falling short in his first title shot on MMA’s biggest stage this past January.

Within the foremost event of UFC 324, Pimblett was beaten by Justin Gaethje of their fight for the interim lightweight title. While ‘The Highlight’ goes on to face Ilia Topuria, ‘The Baddy’ might want to bounce back against a fellow contender.

And it’s no secret who that appears to be.

Fans are confident Paddy Pimblett is fighting Benoit Saint-Denis after ‘southpaw’ hint

Pimblett asked Dana White for his return to return at International Fight Week in July. The UFC boss green-lit that request on the time and the Scouser has since claimed it to be confirmed.

The previous Cage Warriors champion has been linked with fights against Dan Hooker and Renato Moicano after their verbal exchanges in recent months.

But Pimblett’s recent Instagram post has eliminated each men from the equation.

‘The Baddy’ uploaded a picture with former fighter ‘Stun Gun’ Dong Hyun Kim and current UFC welterweight Seok Hyeon Ko after hosting them at Liverpool’s Next Generation MMA gym.

Pimblett hinted at his next opponent by teasing the advantages of coaching with some southpaws.

“Great to have @stungunkim and @ko.seokhyeon within the gym today some perfect rounds for me with some southpaws 👀,” he wrote within the caption.

Fans reacted to that clue, which further confirmed within the minds of many who Pimblett can be sharing the Octagon with Benoit Saint-Denis at UFC 329.

“Yeah it’s BSD then. Dan Hooker and Moicano are orthodox.”

“BSD or Gamrot. More evidence towards it being BSD.”

“It needs to be Saint-Denis.”

“The 2 can just stop hinting at it now. We understand it’s BSD and Paddy.”

“Obviously BSD.”

“No must hint anything, we understand it’s BSD.”

The French contender has also hinted at that fight in a social media video. Saint-Denis seemingly outed himself as Pimblett’s opponent in a cryptic promo, which included a touch that he can be facing an Englishman next.

Conor McGregor is rumored to be headlining UFC 329

If Pimblett’s return does get made official for July 11, he may very well be fighting on a Conor McGregor undercard for the very first time.

The Irishman has not competed since 2021 and targeted the White House event in June for his comeback this 12 months.

That didn’t come to fruition, with the UFC seemingly wanting to have ‘The Notorious’ top an arena card with a purpose to extract essentially the most financial gain from his return.

With that, a clash at International Fight Week is reportedly within the works, where Max Holloway is the frontrunner to welcome McGregor back.
