Eddie Hearn and Dana White used to have a robust relationship before White’s move into boxing.
The 2 promoters used to have a very good relationship with Eddie Hearn even having attended UFC events as Dana White‘s guest and friend.
But things dramatically modified when the UFC boss made his move into the world of boxing with Zuffa Boxing, ripping all boxing promoters, including Hearn.
And now the pair are at loggerheads, even talking about potentially fighting one another within the boxing ring after months of going back-and-forth with one another within the media.
Who wins in a fight? Dana White or Eddie Hearn
Dana White has claimed to be open to a boxing match with Eddie Hearn: Who do you’re thinking that would win in the event that they met within the ring?
Hearn rips Zuffa Boxing vision as he talks relationship with White
The British boxing promoter isn’t completely happy with how the media fail to query White on his claims but he has stated that he’s completely happy with how their relationship has modified because it has helped his global repute.
“He’s at all times been unbelievably courteous to me,” Hearn told Fight Hub TV.
“It’s what it’s, I don’t have anything personal to say about him and it’s only a business and a fight, but this one is out of the ring. It’s Matchroom vs Zuffa, and I adore it. It’s a buzz. Everyone seems to be talking about Eddie and Dana fighting but the actual fight is the business.”
The battle of the companies looks as if it is going to proceed as White recently announced that he has signed Conor Benn to a multi-fight deal after initially signing him for a single fight.
When White first made his transition into boxing, he went in on all of his rival promoters, claiming that they don’t have any vision in the game of boxing. Now after running their first five shows, Hearn has reversed that back on White.

“Each time he opens his mouth he talks about me, which is sensible for my profile over here (in America)… I don’t really think he knows what’s happening by way of what other persons are doing because they’re so smug they only think what they do is (the one thing happening).
“I don’t think they know what they’re doing in boxing… Where’s the league? We’re six months in and all we’ve seen is five shows with a load of randoms on it… You’re stuck within the Apex still, are you gonna come out of there and do anything creative?”
Over the past few months, the UFC and Zuffa boss has been teasing that he’ll take the promotion to the UK for a show, hinting that they’ll come out of the Apex.
The META Apex has been subject to numerous criticism over the past few years from UFC fans because the promotion has not stopped going there for the reason that end of the COVID-19 pandemic.
