John Cena returned at WWE WrestleMania 42 not as an in-ring performer, but because the host of the pay-per-view event. The Cenation Leader announced the attendance for each nights of the spectacle in Las Vegas, NV. During Night Two, Cena was involved in a segment with The Miz, Kit Wilson, and Danhausen within the ring.
Appearing on a recent edition of the “Complex Graps” podcast, The Miz claimed that he expected to get physical with Cena at WrestleMania 42. The previous WWE World Champion said,
“Once I was on the market, I used to be expecting to must fight John Cena. John Cena was like, ‘No, have your moment, here’s a microphone. Do what you do best.’”
The Miz Claims Female WWE Veteran Never Gets Her Flowers
In the course of the same podcast, The A-Lister stated that his wife, Maryse, doesn’t get enough credit in WWE. He said,
“You should speak about people getting flowers, she never gets her flowers. She never gets the credit that she deserves. When she was a Diva’s Champion in WWE, this was a time when girls got perhaps a minute on TV. You needed to get the character over, get people over, get people talking, get people booing, get people cheering. She was in a position to try this within the minute that she would get. Moving on to Miz and Mrs and the Intercontinental title run that we had, man.”
“She was the explanation Miz and Mrs got here about and the success of Miz and Mrs. By the way in which, I feel like that is an ideal time to bring it back. Maryse and I actually have been talking about it here and there, we just had a gathering over at CAA with our entire team. We’re all talking about it and our agents were sitting there they usually go, ‘You understand what, that is the magic right here.’”
“We were just bouncing off each other in a room and your complete room was just laughing your complete time in regards to the stories we create. They’re like, ‘That is the magic, we’d like to bring Miz and Mrs back.’ We’re like, ‘We all know. We all know.’ So, it could occur, we don’t know with the landscape of television and where it’s.”
