Carter Efe got his hand raised as he won a unanimous decision over Portable on a bizarre night of influencer fighting in Lagos, Nigeria.

The streamer was considerably taller than his rapping rival, with the pair squaring off in a rare celebrity boxing match in Nigeria. It was an evening marred by controversy as British star Joseph Laws pulled out of his fight on the last second after tear gas was used on gathered fans.

And the motion within the ring was just as strange, with the fourth round of the bizarre boxing contest ending after just 20 seconds. Ultimately, it was streamer Efe who delivered a giant result, much to the delight of the gathered crowd.

DAZN aired the outlandish show, which faced problems from start to complete and really much lived as much as its billing as ‘Chaos within the ring’. Promoters surely would have liked there to be a little bit bit less chaos outside of it, particularly with the tear gas used on fans who tried to get into the sold out venue without tickets.

The event was greater than sold out, with a packed house witnessing two very limited punchers going hell for leather over three rounds. There was a fourth scheduled that even managed to begin, nevertheless it was waved off for some unknown reason after only a matter of seconds.

Carter Efe managed to land the more practical shots, and while no scorecards were read out he was announced because the winner by unanimous decision.

It was an otherwise relatively fun card, albeit without the involvement of British veteran Laws who opted to not compete despite getting his hands wrapped.
