Why fans think Conor McGregor dodged a bullet

Aaron Bronsteter was interested by the failed fight between Conor McGregor and Carlos Prates after UFC Perth.

The MMA reporter asked his X followers: “Are you able to imagine in the event that they had actually booked Prates vs McGregor?”

The consensus in his replies was that McGregor would’ve gotten seriously hurt in that fight.

“That will be a sanctioned execution, lol,” one fan said. While one other added: “It could’ve been a massacre.”

“Yeah, that’d be a retirement fight for Conor lol,” a 3rd fan added.

“Conor would end with a broken leg, broken jaw, broken orbital, and broken ribs,” another person commented.

“Prates would send him home in a body bag,” one other X user tweeted.

“McGregor would have taken a beating of a lifetime, man… something to make him invalid for the remainder of his life,” a sixth fan predicted.

Conor McGregor’s comeback fight

Conor McGregor is predicted to return to the Octagon for the primary time in five years this summer.

‘Notorious’ is currently being heavily linked with the most important event spot at UFC 329 on July 11.

Max Holloway is rumored to be the opponent being discussed for McGregor’s highly anticipated return to MMA.

They previously met as rising featherweight prospects in 2013. McGregor survived tearing his ACL to select up a unanimous decision win on that occasion, but he’ll be a large underdog in the event that they run it back 13 years later.

News about McGregor’s next fight is predicted to drop following UFC 328 in Latest Jersey next week.
