A glaring VFX error in Naagin 7 has once more put the show under scrutiny. Days before its much-anticipated finale, a scene featuring a visual blue screen from the raw shoot made it to the ultimate streamed version, sparking fresh criticism online. The incident has revived ongoing debates across the show’s visual effects and editing quality, despite its strong TRP performance.
Naagin 7: Epic VFX Blunder Leaves Fans In Splits
The error appeared in an episode streamed on JioHotstar. Viewers quickly noticed that a blue screen, together with visible wires and harness elements, remained in a key sequence. The moment occurs during a scene where the character played by Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Ahana, is seen attacking her enemies. Although temporary, the glitch stood out, and clips began circulating widely on social media.
Interestingly, the problem didn’t appear in the tv broadcast version. Soon after the backlash, the makers corrected the episode on the streaming platform. The finale of Naagin 7 is scheduled to air on June 7, as confirmed by Ektaa Kapoor.
As expected, viewers didn’t hold back. One user wrote, “This time, the producers and team have ruined your complete show.” One other commented, “Naagin 7 show khatam karne ki itli jaldi thi ki editing thik se karne ka time nahi mila.” A 3rd added sarcastically, “The VFX was value watching anyway.”
Netizens Troll Nagin 7’s VFX Blunder
Some reactions were more detailed. One viewer noted, “I believed my stream glitched, but that is literally a full blue screen setup with visible wires and actors just lying there lol. This looks like raw VFX footage, not a finished episode. Has anyone else noticed this?” One other questioned the method itself, writing, “Unedited vfx…. VFX???? Do they even do that??? Like that is more surprising to me. Possibly they are attempting to prove that they do put a bit effort in editing and never 100% depend on AI.”
Others reacted with humour. “The Editors were too sleepy I assume,” one user joked. One other quipped, “Naagin went to fulfill Avatar!” while a 3rd added, “The free limit for Gemini AI should be over.”
This just isn’t the primary time the show has faced such criticism. Despite its popularity and consistent TRP performance, Naagin 7, led by Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, has often drawn trolling for its VFX and dramatic storytelling. The present backlash also comes months after Ektaa Kapoor addressed criticism around the usage of AI-generated visuals within the show.
In the long run, while the makers acted quickly to repair the error, the incident has once more highlighted the gap between ambition and execution. With the finale approaching, all eyes now remain on whether Naagin 7 can end its run on a stronger note. It also features Namik Paul and Kanika Mann in key roles and is currently streaming on JioHotstar.
