Savannah Guthrie Shares Mother’s Day Tribute to Her Missing Mom Nancy

“Today” host Savannah Guthrie took to Instagram on Sunday to post a heartfelt Mother’s Day tribute to her mom, Nancy, who has been missing since February.

“Mother, daughter, sister, Nonie – we miss you with every breath,” Guthrie captioned her post. “We are going to never stop on the lookout for you. We are going to never be at peace until we discover you. We’d like help. Someone knows something that could make the difference. Call 1800CALLFBI. You may be anonymous and the reward stays available. Please keep praying. Bring her home.”

Nancy, 84, was last seen at her Arizona residence on Jan. 31. On Feb. 2, the Pima County Sheriff said he believed Nancy didn’t leave her home “on her own.” An individual was briefly detained in connection together with her disappearance, and doorbell camera footage was recovered, showing the possible offender attempting to enter Nancy’s front door. Despite the sporadic evidence, there was little progress toward Nancy’s recovery.

In early April, Guthrie joined Good Shepherd Latest York’s digital Easter gathering to share a message of hope and reflect on her mother’s unsolved abduction.

“Perhaps this is just too dark a message to share on Easter morning, but I even have long believed that we miss out on fully celebrating resurrection if we don’t acknowledge the emotions of loss, pain, and yes, death,” she said. “It’s the darkness that makes this morning’s light so magnificent, so blindingly beautiful. It’s all the brighter since it is so desperately needed.”

After two months away, Guthrie returned to the “Today” desk on April 6.
