In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, the actress opened up about initially rejecting the truth show, the emotional challenges of participating in it, and the way the celebrity that comes after Bigg Boss also has its own limitations within the entertainment industry. Sumbul Touqeer On Saying Yes To Bigg Boss
Sumbul Touqeer expanded her fan following further together with her appearance on Bigg Boss 16. Speaking about what made her comply with take part in the truth show, the actress said, “Kabhi socha nahi tha. Jab call aa bhi raha tha, uss time pe I kept saying no because I used to be unsure ki if I’m a Bigg Boss personality, which till today I don’t imagine ki essential ek Bigg Boss personality hoon. I’m a really different sort of person, and I can’t be fighting for one egg ya petty reasons jinke liye sab ladte hain. Though I also fought for such reasons within the show, it was very difficult. At the tip of the day, I used to feel, ‘What the hell are you doing? Yeh reasons ke liye fight nahi honi chahiye.’ However the show is designed in such a beautiful way that it makes you do this.”
Talking about what she gained from the truth show, Sumbul added, “A whole lot of friends, good, real friends. Aur uske alawa money, after all (laughs). Aside from that, I feel meri joh audience bani wahan se, jin logon ne mujhe as an individual pasand karna shuru kiya, those people. Yeh teen cheezein essential saath leke aayi.”
Sumbul Touqeer Reflects On Receiving More Opportunities Post Bigg Boss
She further spoke about how participating in Bigg Boss impacts an actor’s profession. “Aisa nahi hai ki koi bahar baitha hua hai aapko kaam dene ke liye. But definitely, when you could have done Bigg Boss, you might be at a really high peak since the show gets massive limelight. But that fame also has a closing date. Jaise hi doosra season shuru hota hai, highlight shift ho jaati hai. So it’s not like bahut saare offers aa jaate hain. Also, there are some mediums jahan they don’t prefer actors who’re very exposed on television. And after doing Bigg Boss, you might be completely exposed. In order that’s an obstacle,” the actress concluded.
