Rossy Ogawa Optimistic Despite Severe Drop In Marigold Attendance

Marigold owner Rossy Ogawa isn’t apprehensive concerning the company’s future despite worrying scenes at the most recent event from the long-lasting Korakuen Hall.

A reported attendance of 615 fans has caused concern amongst some, on condition that the show did near double that number just a number of months ago in the identical venue.

On Twitter, Ogawa acknowledged the low attendance but agrees with Mayu Iwatani that there’s a vibrant future ahead for the promotion. He said,

“Although Korakuen Hall struggled with attendance, I consider this event laid the groundwork for tomorrow. With Kizuna Tanaka making her first appearance shortly and the arrival of recent challenger Chi Chi… we’re going to hold in there until our injured wrestlers return.

“As Mayu Iwatani said, “With so many young wrestlers, Marigold has a vibrant future.” We’ll all work together to make Marigold a real “golden garden.”

A series of injuries has derailed much of Marigold’s plans, including Iwatani and Victoria Yuzuki, in addition to freelancer/Marigold regular Erina Yamanaka.

The promotion may even soon lose Utami Hayashishita, who will depart Marigold following her match on May 23.
