Farrhana Bhatt recently opened up about one of the vital difficult and emotional decisions of her life. The actress and Bigg Boss 19 Runner revealed that she selected to distance herself from her close blood relatives with the intention to chase her dreams and construct the life she envisioned for herself. Speaking candidly about loneliness, ambition, and private sacrifices, Farrhana shared how she decided to face on her own despite the emotional cost. Read on to know what the actress needed to share.
Farrhana Bhatt Reveals Publicly Cutting Ties With Family
During a conversation with IANS, Farrhana called the choice the ‘biggest risk’ she had ever taken. She said, “The largest risk in life taken by me is that I completely cut myself off from my close blood relatives. To a limit where I told them you may publicly announce ‘she doesn’t belong to us’. That was the largest risk I took.”
The actress further explained how emotionally difficult it was to walk away from family expectations and support systems. She shared, “Somewhere in your blood relation, when you are at your lowest, you might have certain expectations that perhaps someone from your loved ones will someday come up and provide help to, or say just a few words that motivate you. But at that time, when you might have actually nobody around, it’s just you and your mother, and you’re cutting off everyone, publicly telling them, ‘You don’t belong to me. I don’t belong to you,’ that’s while you completely put yourself into solitude.”
Despite the loneliness, Farrhana said she refused to provide up on her dreams. “I made a decision that I shall be alone, but I won’t quit on my dreams or whatever I would like to do. That was the largest risk I ever took,” she added.
Hailing from Kashmir, Farrhana Bhatt gained recognition after participating in Bigg Boss 19 in 2025. Her outspoken personality and fearless approach on the show attracted significant attention from viewers. She also faced criticism and trolling during her stint because of her abusive language on the fact show. The actress is now preparing for her next reality show appearance in Khatron Ke Khiladi season 15.
