WWE is expanding its non-televised house show schedule this summer in order that younger wrestlers can get more in-ring experience in front of live crowds.
At today’s internal Town Hall meeting, WWE President Nick Khan and Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque told employees that the corporate is adding more house shows, as they see live events as a key training ground for developing talent.
The duo explained that non-televised events let younger wrestlers try recent things, learn timing and psychology, and adjust their styles without the additional pressure of live TV, all while working in front of various audiences across the country.
Khan and Levesque emphasized that the goal shouldn’t be simply to pack the calendar, but to search out the fitting balance between giving younger names more reps and avoiding overworking established stars or creating injury risks.
The approach lines up with recent reporting that WWE’s expanded Summer 2026 tour is designed each to be profitable again and to function a system where prospects can grow before being pushed harder on RAW, SmackDown or NXT.
WWE has already announced ten extra live events for July and August, with top names like Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, Seth Rollins, Jade Cargill, Oba Femi, Trick Williams and Drew McIntyre advertised for select dates as anchors for the cards.
