The Tamil film industry got here together to support Ajith Kumar following the death of his mother, Mohini Mani. Several actors and public figures visited the actor’s Chennai residence to supply their condolences. Amongst them were actor Tamil Nadu CM Vijay and actress Trisha Krishnan, whose visit drew significant attention online.
Vijay, Trisha Visit Ajith Kumar’s Residence To Pay Condolences
Mohini Mani passed away on Saturday after battling age-related health issues on the age of 85. Ajith Kumar, who was in Dubai when he received the news, immediately returned to Chennai to be together with his family in the course of the difficult time.

Late on Saturday, Vijay and Trisha arrived at Ajith’s residence to pay their last respects. Videos circulating on social media showed Vijay greeting and warmly embracing Ajith before spending time with the grieving family. The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and TVK chief was seen arriving amid tight security and carrying a big floral garland.
Trisha Krishnan was also present on the residence and offered her condolences to the family. Wearing a black salwar suit, the actress was seen meeting Ajith and paying her respects to his late mother.
About Mohini Mani’s Death
Mohini Mani’s passing has deeply saddened Ajith’s fans and colleagues. Nearly three years ago, the actor also lost his father, P. Subramaniam. In keeping with the family, Mohini Mani passed away peacefully following a period of declining health.
Following her demise, Ajith’s family released an official statement that read, “It’s with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved mother, Mrs Mohini Mani, who left us peacefully today on the age of 85. She was the guts of our family, a source of unconditional love, quiet strength, wisdom, and charm. Her presence shaped our lives in countless ways, and the values she instilled in us will proceed to guide us on daily basis.”
For the reason that news broke, tributes have poured in from across the film industry and beyond, with many remembering Mohini Mani’s role as a pillar of strength in Ajith Kumar’s life and profession.
On the work front, Ajith Kumar was last seen in Good Bad Ugly, while Trisha Krishnan recently featured in Karuppu opposite Suriya. Vijay, meanwhile, continues to deal with his political responsibilities as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu following his transition away from full-time acting.
