On Friday (June 12), Deion Sanders hopped on X (formerly Twitter) and encouraged his supporters to lean into God’s plan for his or her lives. He typically shares words of wisdom, often tied to God, on his social media platforms.
“Lord we’ve learned that it may’t be our way, it’s got to be your way or no way in any respect. We’re learning patience & find out how to truly listen. We also know that it ain’t gonna be easy & we wouldn’t appreciate it if it was. We trust u Lord. #COACHPRIME,” Deion tweeted.

What Daddy Sanders Told His Daughter About Letting Go
The day before, Deion was trending after dropping three tweets on X—two directed at Deiondra Sanders. His first tweet posted on June 11 quoted Deiondra and only said “Lawd Lawd Lawd,” a response that quickly went viral. Sanders was responding to Deiondra writing, “I can’t wait till my son grow up and see the reality for himself.”
Following that got here his inspirational scripture-based message. He wrote of continuing to push forward, blessing others and remaining positive. Sanders Reveals His Health Has Improved
Days before stepping in to comfort his daughter, Deion Sanders revealed on ‘Good Morning America’ that his health has improved. Last 12 months, he was battling bladder cancer and faced challenges with coaching the Buffaloes. Nowadays, he’s doing significantly better, especially following bladder removal surgery. He said on the morning show that he’s “got [his] health” and “swagger” back. “I’m fully back now. Last 12 months at the moment, it wasn’t an excellent look,” Sanders said. Sanders is now “cancer-free” and credited “great doctors in Colorado” and God, whom together, he said, “brought [him] through.” He added, “I’m thankful ‘m healthy.”
