Dana White dismisses more White House, Sphere events after Freedom 250

After the successful UFC Freedom 250 event on the White House, don’t expect Dana White’s promotion to the Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada, or the South Lawn.

Following UFC Freedom 250 (via ESPN), White confirmed that he didn’t plan on holding one other show on the White House of the Sphere. Why? It comes all the way down to money.

“I am unable to afford it,” White said. “I’ll never do the Sphere again, and we’ll never do that again.”

He didn’t get into specifics, however it seems like the event turned the profits crucial to make back its $60 million production budget, saying it was successful “in every way you possibly can gauge success.”

Loads goes into making an outside fighting event, and while President Donald Trump wants White to arrange one other one on a military base.

Nonetheless, White won’t be ready for that, saying, “He desired to do it this 12 months. And I said, sir, I would like a 12 months to get well financially.”

On Sep. 14, 2014, White held UFC 306 on the Sphere in Las Vegas. It was the primary and only event to be held there up to now. It doesn’t sound like they may return there anytime soon.

On Sunday, June 14, 2026, UFC Freedom 250 took place in Washington, D.C., on the White House. The event fell on Trump’s eightieth birthday and was meant to rejoice america’ 250th anniversary. The likes of Diego Lopes, Steve Garcia, and Sean O’Malley were featured on the cardboard.

Freedom 250 was broadcast on Paramount+. Moreover, hundreds of fans were there in D.C. for the event. Some were seated in The Ellipse.

UFC’s next event, Fight Night: Kape vs. Horiguchi, will happen on June 20 in Enterprise, Nevada.  They may even host a Fight Night event in Baku, Azerbaijan, on June 27.
