Police have urged the general public to avoid an area near Nancy, northwest France, following a plane crash that killed 11 people.
The tourist aircraft crashed in Rue Salvadore Allende within the town of Tomblaine at around 11am on Sunday.
Emergency services, including medical teams and firefighters, are on the scene. Residents have been warned to avoid using roads near the positioning of the crash.
The realm can be thought to pose a risk of explosion, authorities said.
Meurthe-et-Moselle National Police said on X: ‘Absolutely avoid the realm around Rue Salvador Allende.
‘To permit clear access for emergency services and law enforcement, don’t go there.’

It is known the civilian aircraft took off from Nancy-Essey aerodrome and was carrying a gaggle of skydivers on a training flight when it crashed.
The people killed haven’t been publicly identified.
The Prefect of Meurthe-et-Moselle said on X: ‘An incident is currently underway within the town of Tomblaine involving a civilian aircraft that took off from Nancy-Essey Airport.
‘Yves Séguy, Prefect of Meurthe-et-Moselle, has activated the departmental operations center (COD) with all operational services present to make sure real-time monitoring of the event.
‘The prefect is on site.’
France’s Interior Minister, Laurent Nunez, can be travelling to the positioning of the crash.
