Before the Queen of the Ring Tournament Final at WWE Night of Champions 2026, Danhausen made sure to go away his mark — and maybe his curse — on Liv Morgan.
The WWE Women’s World Champion was set to face IYO SKY within the tournament final after Danhausen appeared before the gang carrying the cash he claimed to have taken from Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio and J.D. McDonagh.
Morgan confronted Danhausen over the stolen money, warning him that he would face consequences if he didn’t give it back. As an alternative, Danhausen responded by placing considered one of his trademark curses on the champion. Morgan answered with a slap across the face before making her option to the ring.
Once the match began, Morgan targeted IYO SKY’s knee after SKY appeared to tweak it on an ungainly landing. Despite the damage, SKY fought through the injury, rallied late, and connected along with her Over the Moonsault to attain the pinfall victory.
With the win, IYO SKY was crowned the 2026 Queen of the Ring. Following the match, she announced that she’s going to challenge Liv Morgan for the WWE Women’s World Championship at SummerSlam 2026, establishing a blockbuster title match despite Morgan’s earlier encounter with Danhausen’s curse.
