Lock Upp 2 premiered on Netflix last evening, Saturday, June 27 and witness some bombshell confessions being made. While Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan took over hosting duties, Akanksha Chamola – wife of television actor Gaurav Khanna, left them in addition to the audience shocked along with her first revelation. What’s it? She and Gaurav have separated and can soon be getting divorced. Read on to know all she said.
Akanksha Chamola, Gaurav Khanna Divorce
During her appearance on Lock Upp 2, Akanksha Chamola said, “Gaurav Khanna and I are getting divorced. We’ve got been living individually for the past one 12 months. People don’t learn about this yet.” She further stated that the choice was mutual and something they’d been discussing for a very long time. The truth show contestant said, “This can be a decision now we have each taken. We’ve got been talking about it for the past one 12 months.”
Her confession got here as a surprise to host Farah Khan, who appeared visibly stunned by the revelation.
Through the same interaction, Akanksha clarified that there is no such thing as a bitterness between her and Gaurav. She stated that things haven’t turned ugly between them. She nonetheless noted that they realised that they might not be right for one another as life partners. She sahred, “There may be nothing bad between Gaurav and me. We still discuss with one another, but we feel that we should not right for one another as partners. That’s because we each want various things in life.” Akanksha added that their families had also suggested that they spend a while apart to see if distance would help them understand one another’s importance.

Gaurav Khanna and Akanksha Chamola tied the knot in 2016 after dating one another for a while. The were often spotted together at events and social gathering in addition to often shared glimpses of their love on social media. During his stint on Bigg Boss 19, Gaurav opened up about wanting to develop into a father, while also revealing that Akanksha was not ready for motherhood even 9 years into their marriage.
