Armaan Khera has finally addressed the weak contestant tag given to him during his stint on The Alliance, revealing how a single moment of self-doubt snowballed into an enduring impression contained in the house. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, the actor explained that assumptions made behind his back shaped how others viewed his confidence, though he was able to compete. Armaan recalled how one task where he briefly felt underconfident led fellow contestants and mentors to imagine he lacked conviction. Armaan Khera REACTS To His ‘Weak Contestant’ Tag
When asked in regards to the perspective of him being weak, Armaan Khera clarified, “Nahi, nahi. Since the thing is, dekho, agar koi ghar mein aapka impression bana de, you understand, ki aap badtameez ho, ya aapko bado se baat karni nahi aati, toh phir wahi image ban jaati hai. Wahi cheez Vansh ke saath hui thi. Nahi toh saare Hunters, jo Hunters Alliance thi, jiske liye Payal ne itni mehnat ki thi taaki Vansh bach jaaye, woh sab uske saath hi the.”
He continued, “Toh hota kya hai na, kai baar impressions ban jaate hain aur humein pata bhi nahi hota, kyunki woh conversations hamare saamne hui hi nahi hoti. Ab principal yeh nahi keh raha ki mujhe Vansh badtameez lagta tha. Mujhe woh courageous lagta tha. But mujhe nahi pata tha ki Vansh aur Kushal ke beech exactly hua kya tha. Hum un conversations ka part hi nahi the. Toh same cheez mere saath hui. Headquarters mein yeh baat phail gayi thi ki Armaan confident nahi hai.”
Armaan Reveals What Happened
Khera opened up, “Ab maine ek task ko lekar apni confidence nahi dikhayi thi. Jo usse previous day wala task tha na, usmein Payal aur Dilbar Dolls ne ek doosre ko challenge kiya tha. Usmein unhone humse poocha tha, ‘Achha, ladkon mein se kaun jaayega?’ Aur Vansh meri taraf dekh raha tha. But Vansh samajh gaya tha ki possibly Armaan is just a little off today. Fundamental bhi keh raha tha ki principal thoda underconfident feel kar raha hoon. But maine bola nahi tha. Nikhil sir ne pehchaan liya tha aur unhone kaha, ‘Nahi, it’s okay. You don’t must go. It’s okay.’ Phir Vansh ne kaha, ‘Fundamental jaaunga.’ Maine bola, ‘Haan bhai, Vansh, tu hi ja. Kyunki agar tumhari team mein koi confident hai aur tum underconfident feel kar rahe ho, toh it’s an excellent thing.”
He continued, “Tu ja, tu shine kar, and produce it back for us.’ But that was just in the future, right? Uske agle din jab yeh challenge hua tha, jismein hum platform par the aur meri aur Nikhil sir ki baat hui thi, us din toh mujhe khelna tha. Poore Headquarters ko pata tha ki mujhe us din khelna tha. But mere khayal se Nikhil sir ne mera aisa impression bana liya tha ki, ‘Nahi yaar, Armaan toh confident hi nahi tha. Fundamental usko kyun bhejta?’ Par aapne mujhse poocha hi nahi. Aapne baat hi nahi ki. Aapne alag se jaake Vansh ko bol diya ki Armaan nahi jaayega. Ab Vansh ko kya context? Usse bhi nahi pata tha. Vansh ko bas yeh laga ki shayad Armaan ne hi bol diya hoga ki, ‘Fundamental aaj bhi confident nahi hoon.’”
Armaan Being A Weak Contestant
On the Amazon Prime reality series Alliance, Armaan Khera initially considered himself the weakest link, even asking teammate Vanshaj Singh to nominate him for elimination attributable to self-doubts. Despite this, he survived voting tasks while his partner Delbar Arya faced elimination. Vanshaj was frustrated with Armaan’s suggestion to be put up for elimination. Inside his team, Armaan proved his value by answering key questions appropriately during tasks. Ultimately, Armaan Khera was unexpectedly eliminated alongside Rivva Kishan.
