Dozens of holidaymakers raced to bag sun beds after waiting an hour to grab their favourite spots by the pool at a Spanish hotel.
Greater than 40 people joined the stampede at a hotel in Salou, just south of Tarragona on Spain’s Costa Daurada.
Chris, from Glasgow, Scotland, watched the frenzy because the poolside opened at 9am during his week-long stay on the hotel this month.
‘It was a manic race and scramble for the sunbeds surrounding the pool on the hotel’, he said.
The Glaswegian added: ‘I don’t judge but found it funny so needed to film it.
He said people had queued up on the doors to get their towels on a sunbed daily of his holiday, only to then dash back inside for breakfast before returning for a swim.

Despite finding the scenes funny, he said it was unfair that guests who didn’t rise up early would miss out on a sunbed.
He said: ‘Some people jut rolled out of their bed, queued up, mad dashedto secure the bed then they were seen going back to their hotel rooms or off for breakfast.’
‘It doesn’t leave room for individuals who don’t queue for an hour.’
Chris, often known as ABC Man on Tiktok, uploaded the video of the scramble, set to music from the Benny Hill show.
It comes as one holidaymaker shared a controversial tactic for bagging his favoured spot.
Tom Caunce targeted ‘repeat offenders’ at a hotel in Mallorca with itching spray on their towels after they’d disappeared off for breakfast.
The prank, which was viewed greater than 864,000 times, divided users online, a few of whom agreed with Caunce’s belief it was a ‘playful payback’.
