Monaleo Opens Up About PCOS Health Scare, Fans Show Love

Monaleo has never been one to shrink back from being open along with her supporters. Throughout the years, she’s kept fans updated on each the highs and lows of her journey. Earlier this 12 months, the rapper postponed several tour dates after undergoing surgery to remove an inflamed cyst that resulted within the lack of one ovary and a fallopian tube. Recently, she returned with an emotional update about her health journey, while also sending like to anyone currently coping with PCOS.

Singer Opens Up About Nearly Losing Her Life

On Wednesday, Monaleo took to X with a temporary but heartfelt message, writing, “PCOS f**kin sucks. Many supporters quickly gathered under her post, offering words of encouragement and sharing their very own experiences with PCOS. The next day, the rapper shared a more in-depth update about her emergency surgery earlier this 12 months. As previously mentioned, the procedure resulted within the lack of one ovary. Monaleo also opened up concerning the lasting complications and hormone changes she continues to experience. She ended her message by sending like to anyone else navigating PCOS. 

She wrote, “Really be sitting back like rattling I actually could’ve died this 12 months. i actually needed to yell in agony for that hospital to take me serious. I actually sat with an ovarian torsion for over 12 hours. I actually lost half my reproductive system at 24. and will lose the opposite half. So many complications. So many hormone changes. I don’t even feel like myself. I’m blessed, don’t mean to sound ungrateful, but today is difficult. I feel drained. Hope some other person fighting pmos/PCOS is getting the assistance they need. You usually are not alone in your journey. hugs out of your cyster.”

Monaleo Continues Winning Through It All

Despite the health challenges she faced behind the scenes, Monaleo continued making her mark and reaching recent profession milestones. From linking up with Beyoncé to releasing her recent single, ‘Every part Pinka,’ the rapper kept showing up and showing out. Back in February, Monaleo won Outstanding Recent Artist on the 57th NAACP Image Awards. In May, she earned the Breakthrough Hip-Hop Artist award on the American Music Awards.

Reflecting on the moment, Monaleo wrote, “Through all of it God provides. Yall know what i been through this 12 months. The wins mean all the pieces to me. Idk who needs to listen to this but your BREAKTHROUGH is on the horizon. First NAACP now AMA. Without my supporters and my village i’m dust. Thanks @AMAs. This award is so fitting. Pimpcess the chain breaker!”

The next month, Monaleo attended the BET Awards alongside her hubby, Stunna 4 Vegas. She was also nominated for 2 BET Awards, adding one other milestone to her growing list of accomplishments.
