Booker T Wants WWE To Sign Richard Holliday, Ricky Saints Explains WWE Absence, Adam Pearce

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has publicly supported Richard Holliday as talk continues about possible WWE interest within the indie wrestling veteran.

During a recent edition of his “Hall of Fame” podcast, Booker T acknowledged reports of Holliday being on WWE’s radar and believes he deserves a real likelihood with the corporate.

Booker T noted that Holliday has spent an extended time working on the indies and has faced each positive and difficult moments during his profession.

He also mentioned that WWE is anticipated to carry tryouts around SummerSlam 2026 weekend later this month. While Booker T didn’t say that Holliday has been invited to participate in those tryouts, he made it clear that he hopes the timing works out for him.

Holliday has not been confirmed for a WWE tryout, and there isn’t a official word that he has signed with the corporate. Still, Booker T’s endorsement could bring more attention to Holliday as WWE considers future additions to its roster.

Adam Pearce will take charge of WWE SmackDown as acting General Manager for tonight’s episode after GUNTHER attacked Nick Aldis last week.

Since Aldis was left unable to run the show following the attack, WWE has called on the RAW General Manager to handle Friday night’s program.

Pearce is confirming on social media that he’ll oversee SmackDown while Aldis is unavailable.

Ricky Saints has explained how he stayed ready during a period when fans wondered why he was not often featured on television.

During a recent appearance on the “Battleground” podcast, Saints said it could have been easy to complain, stay home, and feel like a victim. Nevertheless, he made a transparent selection not to present his frustration that much power, and as a substitute used the energy to enhance himself and prepare for his next opportunity.
