Dana White credits Nina Drama for turning contender into top 5 UFC star

Arman Tsarukyan has seemingly worked his way back into Dana White’s good books together with his work outside of the Octagon.

The Armenian hasn’t fought contained in the UFC since last November when he dominated Dan Hooker within the UFC Qatar important event.

Since then, the 29-year-old has been sat on the sidelines awaiting a light-weight title shot, staying energetic by competing in Real American Freestyle Wrestling.

And despite having previously been in Dana White‘s bad books, Arman Tsarukyan has been given credit from the UFC boss for his work on social media.

White gives Tsarukyan credit for his social media work with Nina Drama

This Saturday evening, ‘Ahalkalakets’ takes on Colby Covington at RAF 11, with their match now being an inaugural title fight for a ‘crossover’ belt.

And although White has previously had issues with Tsarukyan and his antics outside of the UFC partitions, he recently placed the lightweight primary contender in the highest five of the UFC’s current biggest stars.

Initially, Dana was crediting his lightweight rival, Paddy Pimblett, who recently pulled off an enormous win at UFC 329, stating that he’s certainly one of the largest stars in the game.

“He’s definitely certainly one of the largest stars, definitely (top 5),” White said in an interview with Spinnin Backfist.

“Top stars? Jon Jones continues to be around, you may have (Sean) O’Malley, Merab (Dvalishvili) has done thoroughly and turn out to be a star, Islam (Makhachev) absolutely.

“(Arman Tsarukyan is up there) absolutely, Arman definitely is. I’ll let you know what, that guy has done an amazing job of getting on the market and getting himself numerous attention and numerous Nina Drama work.

“Should you take a look at the those that have been built, it’s not possible to disclaim that Nina Drama has helped construct a few of these guys, from Merab to Sean Strickland, Arman, these guys are smart, they lean into the connection together with her,” he continued.

Nina Drama is an internet personality who spends numerous time with select UFC fighters, conducting interviews and shooting social media content with them.

Since becoming friends together with her, Tsarukyan’s online reach has multiplied and he now has six million followers on Instagram, putting him above the likes of Sean O’Malley and Sean Strickland.

The 29-year-old is hopeful of finally fighting for the 155lb title later this 12 months, with many fans claiming that he’s the uncrowned champion.
