Earlier this month, Maxxine Dupri officially joined forces with The Vision on an episode of WWE RAW. She helped Bron Breakker and Austin Theory to capture the World Tag Team Championship from The Street Profits. Following the match, Dupri and Theory shared a kiss as she allied with the group.
During a recent interview with KRON4, Austin Theory explained why he brought Dupri into The Vision. The WWE star said,
“I saw the trail that she (Maxxine Dupri) was on and sort of much like me. Like back after I had the tag team titles and we lost those and I sort of was just on this journey attempting to work out what was next for me and same thing for her. It’s like you place in all this work and other people aren’t seeing it, it’s not paying off after which it’s almost like you simply got to take things into your personal hands.”
“I believe for me, I did that and that’s how I got with The Vision. After which I saw Maxine and I just seen how she was being misused and never being respected the way in which she must be. And the things that she wants to realize, she will be able to actually have them. However the one thing she was missing was The Pressure, Austin Theory. So here we are actually. Now it’s pressure to the max.”
Theory On WWE Match Against The Alpha Academy
Moreover, Theory revealed that The Vision vs. The Alpha Academy won’t happen at SummerSlam 2026. He said,
“I don’t see the Alpha Academy vs. The Vision at SummerSlam because this Monday on Raw coming up, we’re going to face the Alpha Academy. In the event that they’re confident enough and never beat up enough to step within the ring with us this Monday, there ain’t no SummerSlam for them. That’s SummerSlam and they’re going to get slammed.”
He also mocked Dupri’s former faction member, Otis. The WWE World Tag Team Champion said,
“Maxine’s not your sister anymore or she’s not your weird little crush you’ve, Otis. She’s mine now. And I took your girl.”
