AYALA CORP. (AC) has retained its place within the FTSE4Good Index Series for a 12th consecutive 12 months following the June 2026 review, while subsidiaries ACEN Corp. (ACEN), Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI), Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), and Globe Telecom, Inc. (Globe) also remained constituents.
“Our continued inclusion within the FTSE4Good Index Series affirms our belief that one does well by doing good. Our mantra must all the time be constructing businesses that support communities and enhance lives,” AC President and Chief Executive Officer Cezar P. Consing said in an announcement on Thursday.
Created by global index and data provider FTSE Russell, the FTSE4Good Index Series measures corporations’ performance on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria.
The indexes are utilized by global investors to design and assess responsible investment funds and other investment products.
Corporations are evaluated on criteria including corporate governance, health and safety, anti-corruption, and climate change.
AC, ALI, and BPI have been included within the index since 2015, Globe since 2016, and ACEN since 2023.
“Continued inclusion in FTSE4Good gives investors and partners a typical reference point for a way we put sustainability into practice. As we align our work in health, education, community development, and sustainability under social infrastructure, benchmarks reminiscent of this help reinforce our belief in the weather which are needed to deliver progress that’s measurable and lasting,” AC Chief Social Infrastructure Officer Paolo F. Borromeo said.
The conglomerate said its ESG initiatives have helped support access to sustainable financing.
As of end-2025, the Ayala group had secured about $6.9 billion in sustainable financing. In May, AC entered right into a $100-million sustainability-linked loan facility with DBS Bank Ltd., its first Singapore dollar-denominated hedged loan facility.
“These efforts support Ayala’s broader technique to create long-term value while contributing to national development,” the corporate said.
