Actor Apoorva Arora has wrapped the primary schedule of her upcoming crime series City Beautiful in Chandigarh. The second schedule of the series is ready to start next month. In exclusive snippets shared with Bollywood Bubble, the actress got candid about her experience shooting the series. Read on to know all she said.
Apoorva Arora Wraps First Schedule Of City Beautiful
Speaking concerning the experience of shooting for the series, Apoorva Arora shared that the emotionally demanding nature of the crime drama made it considered one of her most intense shoots up to now. She shared, “It was a extremely intense schedule. City Beautiful is a real crime series, and the situations and emotions we were portraying were so heavy that they stayed with me even after pack-up.”
Apoorva continues, “As an actor you must leave your character on set and never carry it back home, but this one genuinely affected me. Some scenes were emotionally exhausting and difficult to perform due to the nature of the story. At the top of the day, that’s our job as actors—to make the hardest emotions look effortless on screen. It was difficult, but additionally incredibly fulfilling, and I’m looking forward to getting back for the subsequent schedule.”
City Beautiful is a gripping crime drama set against the backdrop of Chandigarh.
Apoorva’s Upcoming Projects
Other than the series, Apoorva is currently juggling multiple creative projects across different mediums. Alongside shooting for City Beautiful, she can be working on her next film while actively performing in theatre, making it considered one of her busiest phases as an actor.
With a movie, an online series and theatre all happening concurrently, Apoorva continues to explore diverse storytelling formats and challenge herself with varied performances.
