Shubman Gill has reclaimed the No. 1 spot within the ICC ODI batting rankings following a powerful series against England. The India ODI and Test captain scored 80 (retired hurt), 31, and 77 across the three matches, although India lost the series 2-1. Gill’s performances helped him overtake Latest Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell to develop into the world’s top-ranked ODI batter.

India T20I captain Shreyas Iyer and vice-captain Tilak Varma also climbed the batting rankings. Among the many bowlers, spinner Ravi Bishnoi registered a major rise after delivering consistent performances in all three matches of the Zimbabwe series.

Shai Hope’s 92 in the primary innings has taken him from 51st to thirty ninth and Kavem Hodge is as much as sixtieth after a seven-slot gain,” the discharge further said.
