Shreyas Iyer’s sister, Shresta Iyer, has spoken in support of her viral ‘Ditta Ek Point’ reel from Indian Premier League 2026. Shresta wrote on her Instagram story:
“I’ve decided to take down my recent video because it seems it was misunderstood by some. It was meant to be light-hearted banter, but I respect that not everyone saw it that way. Nevertheless, it’s been quite upsetting to receive not only negativity, but in addition a couple of threat messages over it.”
“That’s something I didn’t expect, especially for something that was never intended to harm anyone. I’m not removing the video because I consider I did something fallacious, but because I respect my brother and his team, and I don’t want this space to show into one stuffed with negativity… Let’s attempt to be a little bit kinder and more understanding with one another.”
