Speaking on a Pakistani television channel, the legendary batter, widely referred to as the “Asian Bradman” for his remarkable run-scoring record, said Kohli and Rohit remain among the many world’s finest batters and that their age shouldn’t be a barrier to playing within the marquee tournament.

“Each are very, superb by way of skill and, given their experience, I don’t see any reason why they shouldn’t play the World Cup. Age shouldn’t be an element so long as they’re fit and proceed scoring runs,” he said.
