‘Elliot Anderson might be a rather different player and a really different age, his skillset is so much different. But I do like Anderson.

‘In case you’re a Man Utd scout, you’ll mention him. He’s among the finest off-the-ball players. He presses to limit the attacking player’s space. He’s among the finest around, and he’s able to going the opposite way as well.
‘That’s why Thomas Tuchel’s got him in his starting eleven over lots of big-name players with England, and he’s a possible starter for the World Cup team.
‘So I’m sure he’s being discussed within the Old Trafford boardroom, in addition to possibly other teams.

‘I believe, from that form of experience for a player and a club, if the deal goes to occur, attempt to get it done as soon as possible.
‘I believe it just helps everyone. It helps each clubs and helps the player, especially going into an enormous tournament.
‘He doesn’t wish to be excited about his club future while attempting to win the World Cup for England. It’s not going to assist anyone. Also, the worth tag may very well be a bit steeper if he has tournament.
‘If something like that’s going to occur and the player’s got his head across the indisputable fact that it’s time for a move, it’s actually higher to be done before the tournament than after.’
