Stevie Richards Destroys Ric Flair After Celebrity Name-Drop Rant Gets Out Of Hand

Stevie Richards has fired back at Ric Flair after the wrestling legend went on a public rant on The Ariel Helwani Show, taking shots at Richards and dropping celebrity names along the way in which.

During a recent edition of his “The Stevie Richards Show,” Richards began by mentioning that Flair couldn’t even remember his name properly throughout the rant. Flair had also confused Dutch with Zeb Colter before eventually belittling Richards and others. Richards was obviously not impressed.

Richards then took direct aim at Flair’s celebrity name-dropping. Flair had bragged about having the phone numbers of Charles Barkley, Shaq, Mark Wahlberg, and Snoop Dogg. Richards shut that down fast, saying having someone’s contact saved in your phone means nothing, and everybody does it.

From there, Richards flipped one in all Flair’s own arguments against him. Flair had claimed that critics only generate profits by talking about successful people. Richards responded by saying that by that logic, Flair just admitted he cannot draw on his own. He also brought in a quote from John Cena about how briskly people move on, to back up his point about relevance.

Richards didn’t stop there. He compared Flair to Bender from Futurama, a personality eager to be remembered. He said Flair’s only real currency is his fame and nothing else. Richards also recalled watching young TNA wrestlers look as much as Flair and pick up all of the bad habits around money and spending.

Each side appear able to keep going, and this feud is way from finished.
