Punjab Kings (PBKS) all-rounder Marcus Stoinis delivered a sensational batting performance within the IPL 2026 clash against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on the Latest Chandigarh Stadium on Tuesday, April 28. The correct-hander remained unbeaten on 62 off just 22 deliveries, striking at an incredible rate of 281.82, with six sixes and 4 fours to his name.
During his explosive innings, the Australian smashed back-to-back sixes off Jofra Archer within the penultimate over of the primary innings. Archer first bowled a slower, short-of-a-length delivery, which Stoinis pulled powerfully over deep mid-wicket for a maximum.
The pacer then cranked up the pace beyond 140 kmph, but Stoinis responded by launching the fuller delivery straight down the bottom for an additional towering six that struck the sightscreen. Watch the video here:

With six wins from seven matches, the Punjab franchise sit atop the IPL 2026 points table. They continue to be unbeaten to this point, with their only non-result coming against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), where rain forced each teams to share a degree.
However, RR, led by Riyan Parag, have been in strong form as well, securing five wins in eight games. A victory here could lift them from fourth to second place, depending on net run rate (NRR). The last time these two sides met in 2025, PBKS edged past RR by 10 runs.
