Tanishaa Mukerji Calls Her Bigg Boss 7 Experience ‘Traumatic’
In a conversation with Mamaraazzi, Tanishaa Mukerji spoke about her decision to affix Bigg Boss 7 and admitted that she had entered the show with a really different understanding of reality television. “I used to be living in my fairy-tale world, considering it will be all rosy. My agent was like, ‘You may create a brand new perception for yourself, you’ll be able to style yourself, you’ll be able to show who you’re to the world.’ I said yes, not realising that you simply don’t show the world anything; they show the world what they need,” she said.

Recalling the aftermath of the show, Tanishaa Mukerji claimed she later discovered that contestants often brought up her members of the family, including sister Kajol and brother-in-law Ajay Devgn, through the show to achieve attention. “I didn’t know until I got here out of the home that individuals were talking about my sister and my brother-in-law simply to get screen time. I feel it was my naivety. Today, I do know that I won’t ever put myself in that position again, where anyone has any right to say anything about my family,” she said.
Tanishaa also addressed questions raised on the time about why members of her family didn’t visit her contained in the house during family episodes. “For those who should not willing to pay them, why should they arrive at no cost? This can be a TV show. Everyone here is getting paid,” she added.

When asked whether the experience felt traumatic, Tanishaa agreed. “Yes, definitely. Because these reality shows survive on trauma; it’s trauma bonding. You make friends also through trauma bonds. You work it out later, but these are all trauma bonds you’re creating. And once you heal, they should not your folks because you’ve gotten healed past the trauma,” she said. (sic)
