He was a part of the film’s art department, suffered an electrical shock while working at a personal studio in Panaiyur. Authorities are currently investigating the incident, specializing in a suspected electrical leak. The film’s producers have yet to issue an official statement.

In line with initial reports, Karthikeyan was involved in organising a house-like set for the shoot when the fatal shock occurred. The incident took place on Thursday on the studio as reported by PTI. Kanathur Police confirmED that a primary information report (FIR) has not yet been filed. An investigation is ongoing to find out the precise circumstances that led to the electrical mishap.
This unlucky event comes just weeks after Sun Pictures, the production company behind Jailer 2, announced that filming had been accomplished. On April 21, they shared photos from the wrap-up celebration. It featured Rajinikanth and director Nelson Dilipkumar cutting a cake with the forged and crew. The production house has not yet issued any statement regarding the incident.
