Now, the show is facing more controversy after posts allegedly showing the latest Casa Amor bombshell, Alannah Keyser, using a racial slur began circulating online. While she stays within the villa, her father has spoken out in her defense.

Alannah Keyser’s Father Defends Her Character Amid Online Controversy
On Sunday, the ‘Love Island USA’ Fiji villa was shaken up as the present Islanders were introduced to Casa Amor. The twist gives Islanders the possibility to explore latest connections while putting their current relationships to the test as a brand new group of girls and boys enter the villa.
The boys were surprised by six latest ladies, with Alannah Keyser amongst the lineup. The identical night Alannah entered Casa Amor, old posts allegedly showing her using a racial slur began circulating online. One video appeared to indicate her using the n-word while singing along to a song. While one other screenshot allegedly showed her using the slur in an Instagram comment.

Alannah’s father, Stephane Keyser, told TMZ that he doesn’t imagine his daughter is racist and described her as an “educated sweetheart.”
Stephane also shared that their family has at all times had friends from different backgrounds, which he said makes the criticism his daughter is facing much more unfair. He also told the outlet that he believes the hate she has been receiving online is “ridiculous.”
Alannah Keyser’s Heart Rate Challenge Performance Sparks Debate Amongst Viewers
Along with the controversy surrounding the resurfaced posts, some viewers had more to say. Viewers called out Alannah for her actions in the course of the Heart Rate Challenge. Several fans identified that Alannah appeared more affectionate toward Zach, Caleb, and Bryce in the course of the challenge. Meanwhile, viewers noted that her interactions with KC, Corbin, and Sincere were far more limited. This sparked a debate online in regards to the difference in her approach.
Some argued that KC, Corbin, and Sincere were treated in another way due to color of their skin. Others defended Alannah, saying she is allowed to have her preferences.
