Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury have each received an attractive offer to challenge for a world championship belt after Oleksandr Usyk relinquished his heavyweight titles.
Oleksandr Usyk revealed last month that he wouldn’t be retiring — in the mean time at the least — after his hard-fought skilled boxing encounter with Rico Verhoeven.
Nonetheless, the 39-year-old Ukrainian star as an alternative made the decision to drop the WBA (Super), WBC and IBF heavyweight titles after his TKO win over Rico Verhoeven.
Usyk, who holds an unblemished 25-0 boxing record, previously vacated the WBO title in 2025 and Fabio Wardley subsequently became champion at the moment.

The undefeated boxing star defeated Zhilei Zhang in Saudi Arabia to capture the WBC interim title before he defended it against Damian Knyba back in January.
Agit Kabayel has now been elevated to the WBC heavyweight championship crown after heavyweight kingpin Usyk made his call to vacate the title in June.
Talking to Sky Sports, Kabayel dropped an open invitation for British superstars Anthony Joshua or Tyson Fury to come back and challenge him for the WBC title.
“For me, it’s no problem, I’ll fight with everyone,” he said.
“You’ll be able to call me. My phone is here, please call me; I’ll fight with everyone. I need competition, I’ll fight with the perfect ones. For me, it’s no problem. I fight everyone.”
Kabayel continued: “Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua, while you think you have got a likelihood to be a three-time world champion, let’s do it. Kabayel will wait for you.”

Fury, who lost the WBC championship to Usyk in his 2024 undisputed heavyweight showdown, is now set to fight Poland’s Mariusz Wach in his next fight this month.
Mariusz Wach vs Fury might be held in Pattaya, Thailand, only someday ahead of Joshua’s encounter with Albania’s Kristian Prenga in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Each Fury and Joshua are expected to fulfill in an all-British showdown in 2026 in the event that they overcome Wach and Kristian Prenga respectively this month.
“We are able to make the fight, but initially, I feel all of the fans, the British fans wish to see the Anthony Joshua versus Tyson Fury fight and after that we are able to see who’s best for the fight with me,” Agit Kabayel explained.
“Initially, AJ [for Fury] and after, why not? This can be a big fight. We are able to make this also [sic] in Germany in a stadium.
“We are able to make this within the UK in a stadium. I feel that is big, really big.”
