Dakota Fanning shared an emotional response on Instagram after she and Elle Fanning each received Emmy recognition, calling it “an unbelievable morning” for her family.

Dakota Fanning, meanwhile, was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series for her role in “All Her Fault” on Peacock. The series also performed strongly within the limited-series field, with Sarah Snook amongst its standout names.

The love didn’t stop there. Dakota gave flowers to the teams behind “Margo’s Got Money Troubles” and “All Her Fault.” She reserved special praise for “the indomitable Sarah Snook,” before thanking voters for recognizing her “amongst such fierce women.”

The older sister later told Deadline that sharing the screen with Elle quickly erased any nerves they’d, and made their long-awaited collaboration feel deeply familiar.
“Working with Elle was as wonderful as I expected,” she said. “And any nerves that we had were gone inside minutes of being on set together in our first scene. It felt like we were little girls playing in our playroom again as we did our whole childhood. And it’s just something we’ll share eternally.”

Dakota can also be getting into messy romantic territory with “The Sun Never Sets,” Joe Swanberg’s first feature film in seven years.

That break becomes much more complicated when Wendy reconnects along with her ex, Chuck (Cory Michael Smith), pulling her right into a tense love triangle.
