Streamer Banned From WWE Due To Recording PENTA Unmasked?

PENTA’s identity was unintentionally exposed during a livestream.

A brand new video circulating online shows a WWE official confronting the 21-year-old content creator (N3on) after footage from his livestream captured the masked superstar without his mask. In response to the official, N3on had already been instructed to not share the footage, but WWE determined that the video had still made its way online. That is because of the undeniable fact that he was streaming live, and other people captured the screencaps and posted them themselves.

Due to that, N3on was informed that he was now not welcome on the WWE booth for the second day of Fanatics Fest.

Throughout the exchange, N3on insisted that he never personally uploaded the clip. Nonetheless, the WWE representative pushed back, saying that he had already seen the footage and made it clear that the choice to ban him was final.

The incident stems from the primary day of Fanatics Fest, when N3on was livestreaming from inside WWE’s booth. His camera briefly captured Intercontinental Champion PENTA walking by without his signature mask. Although PENTA still had face paint on, his uncovered face and recognizable voice were visible on the livestream.

PENTA immediately asked the streamer to not post the footage, and N3on agreed. Nonetheless, because he was broadcasting live, the clip had already been seen by viewers before anyone could stop it. N3on also didn’t tell WWE officials that he had been livestreaming, leaving the corporate unaware that the footage had already been broadcast live. He later denied posting the video, despite WWE concluding that it had circulated online.

For a lot of lucha libre stars, protecting the identity behind the mask is a deeply respected tradition. Unless a wrestler chooses to disclose themselves — whether as a part of a storyline or by personal decision — showing a masked wrestler’s face without permission is widely considered a significant sign of disrespect.

For what it’s value, N3on was shown through the Saturday Night’s Foremost Event broadcast. So it seems that whatever issues there can have been between the 2 sides (early on) have been smoothed over. Obviously, WWE isn’t going to want the negative press in order that they greater than likely made things right.
