Nassourdine Imavov is unfazed by Dricus du Plessis’ impressive UFC Oklahoma City win

Du Plessis lost the title to Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 319 last August. The one-sided nature of the fight meant ‘Stillknocks’ was not given a direct likelihood for redemption.

He appeared to slip behind Imavov within the queue, given the French contender’s five-fight winning streak.

But after being omitted by Sean Strickland for the title challenge against Chimaev this yr, ‘The Sniper’ could have more competition.

Along with Chimaev demanding a Strickland rematch, many have backed Du Plessis to get a shot on the American champ after winning two fights against him to date.

But moments after the South African’s conquer Usman on Saturday, Imavov appeared to downplay any concern concerning the safety of his expected opportunity.

“Calm down (yawn emoji),” Imavov wrote on X.
