Kelvin Gastelum has been booked in considered one of the most important physical mismatches in UFC history.

The 5ft 9in middleweight is trying to bounce back from a fast submission loss to Vicente Luque at UFC 327 in April.

On Saturday night, Kelvin Gastelum’s return was considered one of six fights announced for Noche UFC, which is scheduled for September 12.

Kelvin Gastelum vs. Yousri Belgaroui is official

Yousri Belgaroui was confirmed as Kelvin Gastelum’s next opponent throughout the UFC Oklahoma City broadcast.

The previous Glory kickboxer picked up a win over two-weight UFC champion Alex Pereira before switching sports in 2021.

Since then, Belgaroui has amassed a 10-3 MMA record, which incorporates two knockout victories within the UFC.

Standing at 6ft 5in, ‘Baby Face Assassin’ is the tallest middleweight on the roster, whereas Gastelum is considered one of the smallest.

It’s going to be a bizarre sight after they are within the Octagon together at Noche UFC later this 12 months.

Five other fights have been officially announced ahead of the UFC’s latest celebration of Mexican Independence Day

It’s currently unclear who will headline the cardboard on the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona.
