Kiana James has yet to carry gold on WWE’s most important roster, but Charlotte Flair sees a really vibrant future ahead for the SmackDown Superstar.
Chatting with “KFAN” at Fanatics Fest NYC, Flair was asked about dream matches she hopes to have, and praised James, who’s Charlotte’s ‘protoge’. She said,
“So, my little protege over here, Kiana James, is gonna do big things at some point. I’d like to have a singles along with her. She actually beat me to enter the Elimination Chamber this yr, in order that didn’t go well for a few weeks. I used to be like, ‘You recognize, you took my spot.’ Yeah, we’re still friends.”
Flair also named Women’s Intercontinental Champion Sol Ruca as someone she hopes to face, and needs to get her hands on Jade Cargill again. She said,
“Sol Ruca. I used to be in a Fatal 4-Way along with her to what was it for the Queen of the Ring spot, but I feel a singles along with her, a one-on-one with Jade. I still have to get revenge on what she did to Lexi last week. So stay tuned, everybody. Stay tuned.”
James joined WWE in 2022 and is a former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion. She was trained by Shawn Spears and Tyler Breeze.
She was called to the most important roster in April 2024 as a part of that yr’s draft but suffered an injury in June, which kept her out of motion for over a yr.
Returning to the ring in July 2025, she was introduced because the representative of Giulia, though the pair have since split up.
